Perfect for a young puppy who needs a quick potty break, a dog who needs medication administration or an older dog who doesn't have the energy for a longer walk. Pet Visits include a 15 minute visit, potty break, water, medication administration (if needed) and lots of belly rubs/playtime!

Tanya offers positive reinforcement training to dogs of all ages, size and breed. Positive reinforcement is the most powerful tool for shaping or changing your dogs behaviour. Positive reinforcement uses praise or treats to reward your dog for doing something you want them to do, therefore making it more likely that the dog will repeat that behaviour. Maybe you have a new puppy who needs some obedience training, or a dog that pulls on the leash. Maybe you have a dog that is reactive (lunges, barks) at various stimuli in his/her environment such as other dogs, cars, skateboarders, joggers, etc. Through positive reinforcement Tanya can help you to teach you the tools to manage your dog in those situations. By teaching the dog that what he/she fears brings a reward (yummy treats/praise) your dog is then able to make a positive association with what he/she is fearful of. Tanya will help to teach your dog an alternative behaviour/ what we want the dog to do instead of reacting. Mannered Mutts Dog Services is here to help you learn the skills to work together with your dog to confidently handle any challenges that might arise in your dogs life. By starting your puppy training early we are able to establish positive associations with the world around them and by teaching them the appropriate behaviours, we can prevent bad habits from forming.
